केन स्विन् नीयते लोकः, केन स्वित् परिकृष्यते।
कस्यस्विदेकधर्मस्य, सर्व एव वशमन्वगमन्निति॥
kena svin nīyate lokaḥ, kena svit parikṛṣyate.
kasya svid ekadharmasya, sarva eva vaśam anvagamann iti.
By what is the world led? By what is it dragged around?
Under the sway of what one thing have all things come?

चित्तेन नीयते लोकः, चित्तेन परिकृष्यते।
चित्तस्यैकधर्मस्य, सर्व एव वशमन्वगमन्निति॥
cittena nīyate lokaḥ, cittena parikṛṣyate.
cittasyaikadharmasya, sarva eva vaśam anvagamann iti.
The world is led by the mind (citta); by the mind it is dragged around.
Under the sway of this one thing, the mind, have all things come.
